He discusses how to do the right things in the right order at the right time in order to save patient lives. He also reviews how St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center approached sepsis on a hospital wide basis and improved their outcomes.

    Target Audience:
    Physicians and Nurses.

    Educational objectives:
    Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

    • Discuss knowledge and definition of SIRS/sepsis.
    • Analyze knowledge of the early intervention bundle for sepsis.
    • Measurable facility compliance with the sepsis bundle within 3 hours of arrival and facility mortality for sepsis and septic shock.
